New Delhi:
Nayanthara and Dhanush’s legal battle has set the internet on fire. The internet is already divided between two sides claiming who is right and who is wrong. Amid such tension, Nayanthara and Dhanush recently attended producer Akash Bhaskaran’s wedding, where the superstars clearly avoided each other. The video has been shared by the security team of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan on Instagram. The video shows the star couple arriving at the event. The video then flips to the other side where Dhanush can be seen sitting in the front row. On this occasion, Nayanthara was wearing a pink colored saree in which she was looking very beautiful. To keep an eye:
For those who haven’t followed the series of events, here’s an update for you. On Saturday, Nayanthara shared an open letter on Instagram, blaming Dhanush for touching “an all-time low” as she demanded a compensation of Rs 10 crore from the young actress. The reason for the claim was a 3-second clip from Nayanthara’s film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, produced by Dhanush, which appeared in the documentary trailer.
An excerpt from Nayanthara’s letter reads, “After two long years of struggling with you for the NOC (No Objection Certificate) and waiting for your approval for our Netflix documentary release, we have finally given up, re-edited and “Decided to compromise.” Since the current edition you have refused to allow the use of Naanam Rowdy Dhaan songs or scene cuts, even photographs, despite multiple requests.”
Dhanush’s lawyer issued a statement threatening legal action if the content was not removed within 24 hours. The statement from Dhanush’s legal representative read, “Advise your client to stop using the material infringing my client’s copyright on the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in your client’s documentary titled Nayanthara Beyond the Fairytale within 24 hours , otherwise my client will be removed.” Forced to initiate appropriate legal action, including seeking damages of Rs 10 crore, against your client and Netflix India.
Nayanthara also shared a post thanking Shahrukh Khan, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and other producers for allowing her to use footage from their films for her documentary and giving her the no objection certificate without any “hesitation and delay”. Letter (NOC) provided.
