BTS leader Kim ‘RM’ Namjoon has released a music video for ‘Domodachi’ with Little Simz, and it’s just as twisty and chaotic as the track.
The K-pop star never appears in the visual, but the video focuses on a teenage protagonist who embarks on a feverish journey through underground tunnels across a dark city landscape. During this journey, the protagonist encounters a violent mob riot and a subway full of depressed-looking commuters, before eventually escaping over a fence with the help of a friend.
A mix of style and tempo, the track features RM and Simz rapping over a mix of hip-hop beats and jazz instruments. The tempo of the music perfectly matches the frenetic energy of the video.
“No more bullshit, I want fun things,” the South Korean artist says in the song.
“I’ll stay calm when they come up with something new.”

The musical journey of R.M.
Domodack” is the fourth track from RM’s new album, ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’, to be featured in a music video. Earlier, ‘Come Back to Me’, ‘Lost!’ and ‘Growin’ are also featured on the same album.
The full album was released on May 24, marking R.M.’s second studio LP as a solo artist.
The 11-track set follows RM’s 2022 debut “Indigo,” which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
The ‘Wildflower’ singer unveiled a batch of concept photos to get fans excited about the project. According to the release statement, each photo features him as “a normal person enjoying moments of freedom in everyday situations – a departure from the glamorous persona he presents on stage.”
RM and the rest of the BTS members are currently enlisted in the South Korean military. These include Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook.

All eligible males in South Korea are required to serve in the military for 18 months before reaching the age of 28. Nevertheless, some members have not stopped themselves from pursuing other side projects even while enlisted. This has enabled them to continue participating in the music industry while also fulfilling their military duties.
The K-pop group plans to reunite for band activities in 2025.
