Steps taken after Payne’s death
Dr. Christian Poletti, a lawyer and university professor specializing in criminal law, told the media outlet, “What’s happening with Liam Payne’s body is basically that he has to wait for the toxicology report which usually It takes one to two weeks, from 7 to 15 days, and they will not leave the body until the results are achieved.”
He further explained, “Any death that has a suspicion of criminality, it’s a suspicious case of criminality, beyond the fact that everything points to the fact that it was caused by someone’s own hand or by any means There was death, it requires a certain amount of time.”
Poletti revealed that the next step will be to get a toxicology report which takes a lot of time. Payne’s partial autopsy report revealed that he had consumed a cocktail of drugs, including a substance called pink cocaine, shortly before his death.

When will Liam Payne’s body arrive in Britain?
The main concern is when Payne’s family will take him home. Poletti explained the procedure followed before taking the body home. She explained, “If they had to deliver it, they would not allow the body to be burnt. Nor will it be allowed to be taken out of the country. That means once the body is completely free, the family can do whatever they want. They will allow liberation, they will allow the body to travel to its original place. Before that they won’t do it.
He revealed that only once the toxicology report comes and there is no doubt about the exact cause of death, the body will be handed over to the family. He said, “My guess is that if everything points to a mutilation, that is, the body fell or jumped from his hand or alcohol or drugs caused it, then they will let it go once the toxicology report comes back. ”
The professor further added, “If there is no suspicion on any other person in the room or the hand that pushed her, I believe they would release the body as soon as the toxicology report comes back. Once it is released, they will allow it to be removed from the country.
