Akshay Kumar made a heartfelt appeal to the audience in Delhi during his film Kesari: Chapter 2 Premier.
The actor politely requested everyone to emphasize the importance of experiencing the film without keeping his phone in his pocket. Speaking on the edge of the incident, Kumar appealed to everyone not to use their phones and listen to the dialogues of the film carefully. He said, “I politely request all of you to keep your phone in your pocket and listen to every dialogue of this film. It will be very much mean. If you try to examine your Instagram during the film, it will be an insult to the film. So I request everyone to keep my phone away.”
On 15 April, before its release, the much awaited film Kesari: Chapter 2 had a grand premiere in Delhi. Many prominent political leaders and dignitaries participated in the special screening. In this program, Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan was seen in a theater in Chankyapuri, Delhi, where he welcomed several prominent guests to see a special.
Among the attendees were Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Minister Anurag Thakur. A source revealed that Akshay met CM Rekha Gupta before going to screening for the first time when he reached the capital. The Chief Minister of Delhi also joined for the special performance of the film.
Environment, Forest and Wildlife Minister, Manjinder Singh Sirsa also shared photos and videos from the event on his X handle and wrote, “This is an honor for attending the screening of Kesari Chapter 2.
“To bring the courage of tears from @akshaykumar & @ACTORMADAVAN. Inviting, he once echoed the great cruelty of the British.
In the next follow -up post, Meshinder Singh Sirsa said, “It makes it clear by looking at Kesari chapter 2 … Congress reflected the British: by pressing the truth, silenced the heroes, protecting the torture. (SIC)
Set against the backdrop of Jalianwala Bagh tragedy, the film is scheduled to release in theaters on 18 April.
