Recently, several media reports suggested that actress Tara Sutaria will be playing the second female lead in the film and will play Yash’s girlfriend. Reacting to such reports, Tara wrote a cryptic note on Instagram in July. In the note, she wrote that “the articles released in the last few days about a project and her” were not true.
Without revealing the name of the film, Tara wrote, “Hello everyone! The articles that have been published in the last few days about a project and me are false and I have not shared them.” She further added, “Whenever there is something to share, I will share it with all of you.”

toxic It was announced in December 2023. The film, financed by KVN Productions, is all set to hit the theatres on April 10, 2025. The film is said to be an action-oriented film set against the backdrop of the drug mafia. Earlier, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was also rumoured to be a part of the film. However, no official announcement has been made yet about the female cast of the film.
