Gigi Hadid has “offered her support” to Zayn Malik following Liam Payne’s tragic death. The late singer died suddenly on October 16 after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On Wednesday, his funeral was attended by Malik as well as former bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. Their appearance at the funeral was the first time in nearly nine years that the former bandmates were seen together.

Hadid supports Malik amid Payne’s death
“Gigi reached out to Zayn to express his condolences after Liam passed away,” a source tells Page Six. The insider explained that Hadid was “there to listen and offer her support if Zayn needed anything or just wanted to talk.”
He added, “Gigi and Zayn have had their ups and downs over the years but they have come a long way and are on much better terms. Their main focus is on co-parenting Khai and they have managed to get along well.” The former couple “spent time with their daughter, including on her fourth birthday last September.”
Since 2015, the two dated each other on and off for six years. In 2020, the couple welcomed their daughter Khai.

Hadid and Malik ‘are in each other’s lives’
A year after the birth of their first child, Hadid and Malik left their relationship and went their separate ways. However, the two agreed on an amicable co-parenting relationship. “Gigi and Zayn realize that they’re meant to be in each other’s lives and they’re both very mature,” the insider told the news outlet.
“They just want what’s best for their daughter and they’ve been able to put aside any differences they’ve had in the past and come together on the same page,” the source said.
In 2023, Hadid sparked romance rumors with actor Bradley Cooper. In December 2023, an insider told Harper’s Bazaar, “They’re getting more and more serious. Gigi has also been spending time with Bradley in Philadelphia.
The source added, “They were pretty low-key when they were in town recently and had a date night in a private room at a local restaurant. They were dating quietly for a very long time before going public, trying to see if things would work out between them. They spent several months together privately and things are going really well.
